Let's Brunch

Sunday brunch is kind of a big deal. Bagels, pancakes, eggs Benedict (my personal favorite) meets mimosas, bellinis, and bloody marys. I'm drooling just thinking about it! Since I am a huge coffee lover and believe every sip counts, I absolutely love a good weekend brunch. It's a time to gather with friends, family, or even just your significant other. There's no denying your style needs to be on point!

My family hosted a post-wedding brunch and it was such a fun way to spend a little more time with all our guests while continuing to celebrate of course! I wore a white romper for the occasion and honestly it was the absolute last thing on my mind for the wedding weekend. Who has time to plan out the day after when there are so many wedding details to be completed?! I can still remember all the feelings the week leading into our wedding. It was full of butterflies, a happy heart, and a bit of anxiousness.

I turn to Rent the Runway (RTR) when I'm in a pinch and need a great new outfit. On RTR you can browse customer photos and reviews for each style. I also love that you can order two sizes - no extra charge. Considering you cannot try on the outfit before your event, it's crucial to have a back-up size just in case. I've been ordering from RTR for about two years and have never experienced any issues. This adorable cold-shoulder basque dress is from a recent order from RTR for brunch. I love the lacey details throughout the dress and the full skirt is super feminine.

Girls Weekend In Charleston

Before tying the knot in June a bunch of my girlfriends joined me in Charleston, SC to celebrate, drink lots of champagne, and laugh until we cried! It was a very special weekend and I feel so grateful to have such incredible friends and family. I've been dying to share every little detail with you!

A dream getaway for me includes pampering, relaxing, and sun-bathing. The girls worked so hard to make my bachelorette weekend just that. Rather than checking into a hotel we decided to rent a big ol' beach house for the weekend. It was steps away from the ocean and the girls decked it out with flamingos, pineapples, and tote bags filled with goodies- including custom chocolate covered pretzels from Fatty Sundays (they were to die for).

I wanted to surprise the girls with a sweet and very southern-inspired lunch at Boone Hall. I was dying to visit the plantation and thought this would be the perfect place to organize a lunch. I reached out to Ava Moore Photography and Gigi of Smells Like Peonies Events to pull it off. With the help of Corsivo Calligraphy, Wildflowers Inc, Event Works, & Swank Desserts, it turned out to be one epic lunch date with my girls.

To catch the full details from my bachelorette weekend, head over to Style Me Pretty today! And if you are on the hunt for more bachelorette party ideas don't forget to visit The Bach Party. My sister stumbled upon tons of cute ideas from following them on Instagram.

Huge thank you to the following vendors for making this weekend so beautiful, delicious, and delightful:

Off The Shoulder

Outfit Details: Urban Outfitters Smocked Off-The-Shoulder Dress (come in two new colors), Preston & Olivia Hat, Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody (similar here), BP Nordstrom Sandals (also love these)

If there's one definite trend this summer, it's off-the-shoulder everything. Not only is this neckline universally flattering, but it will keep you cool in the hottest of temps (pull your hair back for extra comfort). I'm a sucker for bare shoulders this season and it looks like this flirty trend will be working its way into your fall wardrobe as well - thanks to the runway shows. The styling possibilities for off-the-shoulder pieces are endless. For now, it's best to keep layering at a minimum, but once the cooler weather hits, it's on with the booties and leather jackets.

I picked up this smocked dress before our honeymoon (got the last one available in store!). It's available in two new colors for Fall, so hurry up and grab one before they fully sell out. Click directly below to shop.
