Aisle Style: Garden-Inspired Bridal Shower

There are truly no words to describe the love I felt on my bridal shower day from all of my family and friends. As you probably noticed from scrolling through this post, my sister, mother, bridesmaids, and future mother-in-law put so much hard work into making this day super special. Today, I am sharing all the juicy details over on Style Me Pretty. You'll need to head over to SMP to read every untold moment, but make sure you scroll through all the images above- I reserved a few exclusively for DBJ readers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to share this extremely personal journey with you. I love reading all your messages, comments, and emails. I truly appreciate all the love and support.

To say I was overwhelmed on my shower day is an understatement. I still can't get over all the gorgeous details. From the flower bar, to the custom flower crown station, to the floral photo booth, my eyes didn't know where to settle first. I am so grateful for all my family and friends who traveled near and far to spend the day with me. It's really such a treat to have all the women you love in one room. Styling The Little White Dress

The little white dress has certainly taken over my wardrobe, and in a good way. There's something so fresh and beautiful about a short white dress, like this stunning Bell Sleeve dress by Eliza J. Not only are LWDs perfect for all brides-to-be, but they are one of the chicest staple pieces for the summer season.

White provides for an excellent styling base. I recommend translating the look with accessories, like this vintage-inspired hair comb and pearl necklace from Aaraa Accessories. Did you notice I used the necklace as a belt? I love how the simplicity of these accessories keeps the balance of the lace and allows the full outfit to remain soft and romantic. This is always key when styling a bridal look.

There are many bridal events headed my way over the next month. I truly cannot believe that in just about 30 days I will be walking down the aisle to my best friend. Today, I'm so excited to be over on the blog of Love & Light Photographs providing advice for all you brides-to-be out there and sharing some details on our wedding! Be sure to head over to Jessa's blog to check it out.

Whether you are engaged or just in love with the all white look, I rounded up some of the prettiest LWDs on the market right now. Scroll through the below and click any image to directly shop.
