Casual In Camo + An Amazon Giveaway

Outfit Details: Susie Raine Camouflage Scarf (c/o), Leith High/Low Top, Henry & Belle Jeans, Charlotte Russe Clutch (c/o) similar here and here, Ray Ban Aviators, Nordstrom BP Booties, Pink Slate Boutique Layering Necklace (c/o)

Casual style to me is crisp, clean, and never boring. Think about playful elements like this high/low top, and layering on cool prints and a quilted bag. The end result is an unexpected look that is comfy and totally modern. When putting this outfit together, the first piece that came to mind was this camouflage printed scarf. My obsession with the print began a few weeks ago when one of the Instagram accounts I follow, @shopsusieraine, held a contest for their followers. To enter to win you simply had to tag your BFF and wait for them to announce the winner. If you were selected you AND your friend won a camouflage scarf. I found myself revisiting their instagram page over and over patiently awaiting for them to announce the winner. As you can see, my best friend and I won the giveaway (big thank you to Susie Raine Boutique).

I couldn't wait to share this new fall find on my blog and all the excitement got me thinking about hosting a super fab giveaway as well! Scroll down for details :).

  1. Really nice post. Love how you stayed in the camo/muted tones family. You look so cute.

I'm by no means a camo of any type girl. However, recently I decided to step out of my comfort zone. I actually purchased a camo shirt from Jcrew the other month. I'll be posting the pics next Monday.

  2. I love this look. I avoid wearing camo mainly bc I had to wear it daily for 4 years and it's just not for me. But I still love military inspired looks and this is just amazingly beautiful!

  6. Love the casual style. I'm not a big fan of camo, but I occasionally like to use one key piece (like a handbag) to make the outfit pop (much like you've done with the camo scarf).
