Holiday Glam

Outfit Details: Eliza J Embellished Collar Fit & Flare Dress & Eliza J BouclĂ© Coat (c/o), Grey Point Toe Pumps (also love this lace up pair)

You might recognize parts of this outfit from Monday's post and that's because I was hiding this super chic fit and flare dress under Eliza J's Pink BouclĂ© coat. Both pieces are so stunning all on their own so I decided to break this outfit up into two posts. I was immediately drawn to this dress because of the glamorously jeweled collar and shimmery metallic color. I also love how the inverted pleats add extra swing into the skirt for a flirty touch. Let's be honest, this whole outfit is screamin' to be worn to a holiday party.

If you don't already own a glam fit and flare dress for the holidays, I suggest you get on it! Scroll through the below for more hand-picked pieces from Eliza J's latest collection:

Style At Your Doorstep: Moxie Box

Outfit Details: H&M Blazer, Target HeelsExpress Skinny Jeans, Marc Jacobs Clutch, Rocksbox Statement Necklace and Midi Ring, Moxie Box Top and Necklaces (c/o), Kate Spade Watch

Do you ever wish that at the snap of your fingertips someone would hand deliver a rack of new clothing to your home? You know, sort of like a VIP style service? Well, I wish that every day because it's so hard for me to find the time to actually go shopping. Which is why I'm delighted to introduce you to Moxie Box. Moxie Box is a subscription-based and personalized style program that consists of fashion and lifestyle products. Each box is filled with chic and trendy pieces hand-selected just for you. It's not a generic or robotic program comprised of small samples. Your box will be complete with items that cater to your style based off of the Personal Style Profile you fill out.

The box I received came with this white high-low top (featured above), dainty feather layering necklaces, and a tangy grapefruit candle that smells delicious. I truly enjoyed each piece in the box, and I'm excited to re-style this high-low top again in the summer. The open back just screams to be worn with a lacey bralette and a pair of denim shorts. The Moxie Box is literally style delivered straight to your doorstep without the fuss of online shopping or the inconvenience of a trip to the mall. It doesn't feel like a subscription, it feels like a gift!

You can purchase a monthly subscription for yourself or you can surprise a special friend or family member with one. Below is an actual picture of the Moxie Box to give you an idea of size. Some examples of the items you might receive in your box include necklaces (statement or layering pieces), trendy tops, graphic tees, scarves, wallets, clutches, small home accessories...and more! Subscriptions start at $32.99. Click here to learn more and perhaps even order one for yourself ;). As always, happy shopping!

Transitional Blooms

Spring Blooms

I am so excited for the upcoming spring season and all of the delightful activities that come along with it. Outdoor dining, a jog along the Hudson, shopping in SoHo...the list goes on. Realizing we still have a few more weeks of winter here on the East Coast, I figured I would put together a little end-of-the-season transitional outfit inspiration. The weather is going to start getting really whacky with dramatic high and low temperatures. I don't believe a soul will complain about the usual bursts of 60 degree temps, but this time of year usually cues the question, what do I wear?! Light sweaters, long full floral skirts, and chunky shooties. That's my solution. What will you be wearing?

What To Wear With A Little White Dress

Outfit Details:
Dress: Charlotte Russe (c/o)- Shop more LWD's here
Bracelet: Aqua (shop more fun cuffs on my Mavatar collection by clicking here)
Shoes: Aldo
Clutch: Aldo Accessories (similar here and here)
Necklace: Regatta Boutique (inspired by this Chain Bib)

Even though I am excited for fall fashion, I'm not ready to give up my strappy sandals and chic white ensembles just yet. In fact, I'm not looking to retire my white wardrobe at all! Yes, you can wear white after Labor Day. This is a fashion rule that I urge you to break ;). Just be careful how you style the look. An all-white ensemble is always easier to pull off in the summer. Let's take this dress for example. For the cooler months I recommend mixing in some edgier pieces, such as a printer blazer with leather detailing. I probably have about a hundred little white dresses in my closet, but I was especially drawn to the silhouette on this dress.

To make this simple look more interesting, I decided to add a pop of color with these lace-up blue high heels. I saw these shoes on display in the Aldo store window on 5th avenue and every time I walked past the storefront it was as if they were calling my name. So naturally I had to bring them home with me! To complete the outfit, I added a multi-layer gold chain necklace. I love how elegant gold looks when paired against white. It truly brightens everything up!

I hope this inspires you to take your little white dresses for a spin in the fall. There's no reason to push them to the back of your closet just yet. There's always an occasion for dresses and moto jackets!
